Need some advice on wheels.

Hey guys, recently bought a Audi B5 avant 1.9tdi '99. I've fallen in love with some AMG 18" wheels. However i went to try them on today and im worried the rear is going to catch on the strut. The fronts are 8j et38 and the rears are 9j et38. Is there any chance of them fitting?Find images below Thanks

theres plenty of folk running with these wheels. im not sure on the offset is it possible there's maybe a spacer being used?

yeah i had seen pictures of others running these wheels, and when i noticed i got a little confused. but without actually fitting these with tyres i wont know if it will hit the strut :/

yea they do look fitted. ive seen them on a few passats as well and they look good.

It will likely depend on the tyre.

If i you stay with a 225/40r18 it will probably clear, but the rears will look somewhat stretched.

Folk sometimes get round these issues by using four front wheels, so they're all 8J.

Well I was going to go for a little bit of stretch all round anyway. Yeah I have a feeling that's what they must do, because it seems like a tight fit at the rear.
