key cutting help

Folks,

Need some advice ref getting a new key cut. Brother has given me his B5 to do some repairs and get back on the road. It only came with 1 valet key and a fob with a broken blade.

I bought a new HAA blade and got the fob synced to the central locking again but I am having problems getting the new HAA blade cut. Took it to a key cutting place and he said he couldn't do it because the valet key NAA is not the same shape as the HAA key (the groove running down the side of the valet key has less depth than the groove running down the blank HAA blade)

has as anyone else had this problem? I've run of ideas!

Send me a clear photo of the valet blade, i can cut these and post to you. I'll pm my details.

I have used keysinthepost before and can highly recommend them, had two cut and all work fine.

@udi A3 sorted my key, absolutely gobsmacked how good he was. Blades I received worked perfectly first time
