Pedal play

Hi everyone....has anyone any experience in having excessive play in the brake and clutch pedals? Cars a 99 A4 QTS - It's side to side movement. I looked up in there And it reminds me of a push bike crank bearing layout....I've tightened the nut but it hadn't worked it's way loose to be fair and and changed nothing. These expensive to replace? Hard job? Cheers

You're gonna have to find which bushes are worn on your respective pedals.
I noticed when I braked I could feel the movement from the brake pedal ever so slightly in my clutch pedal
Went into the parts department at work and looked through etka.. They're all listed seperately

Easier to just order all the bushings tbh... Not too expensive.. Or 2nd hand pedal set
