I think this plugs into the cd changer controller plugs ( are there three of them on one block?) what I know from my set up is that the cd changer has to be in place and the signal connection from the head unit to the cd changer must exist otherwise the head unit can't accept the audio signal from the iPod input.

Yeah blue yellow and green. My original cd changer ISO is toast. The wire is still there but has no ISO on the end. Which wire within the standard cd changer ISO would I need to splice this Into to receive a signal to work the aux input?

Afaik you have to have a working cd changer to make a spliced aux input. The head unit has to get the control signal from the cd changer to accept the aux input signal. So it won't work work without a cd changer.

I will dig out the pin connections I used tomorrow
