PFL S4 rear brakes

PFL rear brakes are the same as your rear brakes iirc 245mm solid discs.
You want to get 256mm FL vented rears or iirc 279mm vented A8/S8 rears.
All should bolt straight on and utilize the standard brake hose iirc the 279mm may need longer hoses but i doubt it as i think when people upgrade to 300mm FL S4 rears the stock lines will work but they rub on the upright hence the need of a banjo fitting hose !!

there was me thinking the PFL s4 would have had bigger brakes..
main reason I was thinking PFL is I know where theres one breaking.

Yeh as above, the PFL S4 had big fronts, but the same 245mm rears as the rest of the range.
FL S4's got 256mm vented rears.
A cheaper/more available upgrade would be to use the rear setup from a B7 A4, some models (not sure which, but quite a few AFAIK) got a 280mm rear disk, which i'm fairly sure should bolt right up to the B5 quattro hub.
