Rear interior lights help

I have a 2000 saloon and the rear interior lights no longer come on when I unlock the car, they work fine if I turn them on manually, any ideas

Bad connection as mine do the very same now and again, unlock car, open rear door and just gently push the light unit a bit and you will probably find that that come on and off !!

Your a star thank you, now works every time. Will take the light unit off tomorrow in the daylight and sort it out, thanks again
