It was meant to start out and include links to Motul [VW approved 502/505] 8100 X max synthetic 0w-40 oil along with 0w-40 300V Estercore multigrade oils.

Due to the idiosyncrasies of the German Motul website that idea fell apart.

You can get decent fully synthetic tri ester/high zinc oils in uk too...they are not cheap but they worth it !

Yep I'm using Fuchs 5w-40 ester pro just now.

It was the VW spec on the 8100X that first caught my eye, followed by the 300V 0w-40.....
