Just been out to run swimbos tq to the shops for some stuff and on starting, first time since we have had some very cold & humid weather,
1. three pings announcement but unable to id the red icon due to naff led display panel it wasn't the oil can, however it was circular though.
2. megga noise from engine compartment originating from viscous fan area,
item 2. was cured by use of belt treatment spray [completely] on both open belts
item 1. went out /stopped pinging immediately after engine start.
There seemed to be an awful lot of dampness/water around the engine bay and on bottom plastic guards and I'm wondering if the hot engine has drawn in the very cold and humid air to cause condensation to form and do it's stuff??
Brakes work fine [could this be for a brake light/switch self test?]...
Never had the car miss a beat until right now.
Any pointers for the three chimes?
