So I went over a bit of a bump in the road and the sound just stopped. Stereo powers on and off yet no sound. I've checked the wires in the back, all ok also took the door cards off nothing there, even down to the fuses and nothing has blown. Umm, help

Have you a spare deck you can lob in to test? It's all ISO behind there so as long as you have an ISO plug on the deck you test fit you should be good.

If you're Herts way I'm quite happy to pop one of my spares in to test for you?

I haven't got a spare unfortunately, well I have a standard stereo but it doesn't seen to work. Where is herts bud, I'm in Cornwall/Wiltshire

You really need to sort your wiring out mate lol.

It could be your stereo.

I got spare stereos but I need radio codes.

Another option is some tape, wires and a 1.5v battery.
Very crude but it will test your speaker connections from the stereo.

I no mate lol, I need an rns-d ;) will see what money I got, and how do I test that scotty. A 188 mile drive to Cornwall ain't going to be very entertaining on Saturday lol

Connect the cables to the plus and negative of the battery and then touch the cables to the connection for each speaker (unplug the stereo) and you should hear them go thud.
Not a massive thud but enough for you hear if the speaker is working.

It was the stereo lads, all sorted now, well I had to hot wire it lol
