Starting troubles

So I just bought a 99' Audi A4 Quattro. It's been a really fun car to have so far. I just recently ran into a starting issue tho. This has happened a couple times. When I go to start it, all lights, stereo come on. But when I turn the key all the way nothing happens. It doesn't try to turn over at all. I try repeatedly and still nothing. Then if I leave it for a while (everything off) and come back to start it , it starts no problem without struggle. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

Could be starter motor or worn ignition switch.

does the immo light flash at all ??
