Grill wrapping (the cheating way) !!

Thought id share my grill wrapping experience with you folks wanting to get rid off the chrome bits up front, though it may be neater actually being wrapped with vinyl i thought id try this method suggested by a B6 owner.

my rings were already plasti-dip'd by scott so thought id get rid of the horid chrome surround once and for all so i got some 2" pcv insulation tape (which has a metalic like finish and not matte) and set at wrapping it close ups are from my second (time taken go) of the grill and on car is just how it looks fitted which is from my first attempt !!
