Where's the boot light in the back of a 2000 Avant? Is there such a thing; with the load cover in place it's as dark as Darth Vader's thong in there.....

As black as a very black thing on a dark night in a tunnel. I came near to dropping a bottle of my favourite plonk whilst groping around, can't be having that...
I'm disappointed in Audi; if they can fit a light in the front footwell to help you find the pedals, you think they'd fit one in the load area to help you find your booze.....

The only light back there is way up in the head lining, which is great, providing the load cover is back, gets on my wick too, having to open the cover to find something thats probably right in front of you!
I have the same issue in my 97 Avant.
Only light is in the lining. Other than that, I use my phone to light it up!

i think a flashlight would help you there bud...maybe tapeing one under the cover faceing down haha in the sates we call that "ghetto rigged"
