Found this on ebay.

Sport CAT

The bore is one size so ignore what’s on there but they stock different size CAT's depending on engine size and what space is available so Greg what’s your size as I'm have my system made up for me X-Mass prezz and want the correct size now ready for the GT28RS setup later in the New Year.

Also there will be no flanges just the pipes coming out so this has to be custom mounted.

That could be very handy!!

I would just mount it in the centre section so its easy to remove etc.

Oh right how did you find that out?

Cos on some Imprezza people remove both CAT's and just put one in the centre section for the MOT.

I only read it someware but it may not be true and like you it may be the way to go and mount it else where.

The cat will get hotter, sooner the closer to the manifold/turbo it is, meaning that it will work quicker from cold than if it were half way down the car.

So what your saying is that it’s more environmentally friendly nearer to the Turbo but make no difference to performance!

Pretty much. A restriction is a restriction wherever it is! Cant see placement making any difference whatsoever

Great that resolves that issue and less heat build up under the hood if relocated under the car.

It will be interesting to see how good (efficient) this CAT is since its pretty cheap.

Also how do you know it is a sorts cat? Is it like 100 or 200 cell?
