How are genuine accessory overmats fixed to the footwells in the 98/99 A4?
On my old 80 the overmats had 2 holes each with a plastic collar which clipped over a plastic peg installed in the footwell carpet lining which secured the mat in place.
My A4 over mats seem to be fixed in the same way, except they don't stay in place at all, nothing seems broken/worn either....
Had a look at an AudiWorld article which reckons there are clips (in addition to the above) which fix in from above to hold the overmats in place; but these easily come adrift.
Alas there were no pics to show what they meant.
Had a look at Etka and there's not too much info available, also asked at my local Audi dealer yesterday and they didn't have a clue...... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
