Evening all,
Ive just bought a 1998 A4 1.8 se saloon, and im a newbie to this useful looking forum.
Reading the handbook i see i should have a total of 4 keys, 2 main, one valet, one emergency wallet key and a key code thing too.
Unfortunately i only have the valet type key with no remote central locking on the key.
From reading other posts on this subject it seems you need one of the main keys to programme spares?
Would it be possible for me to get at least one spare key using my only key to programme it?
Ive seen the flip type key with blank blades on sale on ebay, has anyone had any experience of these keys and would that be an option for me?
Also, would i be able to avoid going to an expensive audi dealer?
