1.8 t remap. & thermostat location

hi guys, 2 questions:
1. is it possible/ worth a remap for economy on a 1.8t if so how much should it cost?
2. can someone point me in the right direction of the thermostat, as my heating dosnt get very warm

If i were looking for a remap i would use MRC, all depends on where you are in the country. Thermostat location is underneath the inlet manifold, bit of **** to get to as you have to remove a load of bits to gain access, still not the worst job in the world to do

I wouldn't use MRC, they are not so good on 1.8t's, either Badge5 or Rtech are at the forfront of 20vt tuning atm.

Stat is located in the plastic housing secured with 2 x 10mm headed bolts on the end of the rad lower pipe, dead easy from underneath
