Here for sale is my Audi A4 1.8 Turbo, 5 door 2000 reg manual.
There is quite a loud knocking sound coming from the engine, I believe to be caused from a failed oil pump. This happened shortly after I purchased the car, so it has been sat on a driveway since October 2012.
Vagcom diagnostics brang up a fault of 'Knock sensor fault', so it could also be something to do with faulty electrics?
Doesn't affect the driving, as it still drives fine. (Had to drive 20 miles home after knock started). Could be an easy fix, but could need a new engine, so selling as spares or repairs! 1.8t VAG apu engines are very common and pretty cheap too.
Everything else is working fine, body condition is pretty good apart from the dent show in the pictures, in the passenger side rear door.
MOT untill June 2013 and Taxed until end of March 2013.
