Going Through Thermostats

How do, it's been a while. Hope everyone has wintered well
I've just fitted the third thermostat in less than a year. All have been genuine replacements from Audi and to be fair these last two they have supplied free under warranty.
Do you think it might be a bad batch or may there be a problem with the car? All have failed stuck open. I notice they have all been made in the Czech Republic if that means anything

i've only ever bought them from the factors, but they are hit and miss, i've had three fail in short order but eventually seemed to get one thats stayed fine.
