I Know a few people have had steering issues, has anybody tried this? Adjusting power-assisted steering box Adjusting power-assisted steering box Two mechanics are required for adjustment, which is to be performed with engine switched off. [SIZE=-1]‒ [/SIZE]Raise vehicle on lifting platform. [SIZE=-1]‒ [/SIZE]Wheels in straight ahead position. [SIZE=-1]‒ [/SIZE]Turning steering wheel back and forth (roughly 30°about centre axis) produces a rattling noise in the event of excessive steering play.

[SIZE=-1]‒ [/SIZE]→ Have second mechanic carefully screw in adjusting screw (arrow) until rattling noise disappears inside vehicle. [SIZE=-1]‒ [/SIZE]Perform test drive. [SIZE=-1]‒ [/SIZE]After manoeuvring/cornering, make sure steering returns automatically and smoothly to straight ahead position. Correct setting if necessary.
