Possible pfl alarm issue?

Hi when I lock my pfl avant and leave it for an hour or so all
the indicators are lit and the battery is drained to point were it won't start.
I disconnected the siren 12 months ago due to this and have rarely locked it since
am I right in thinking its false activation is due to a dead battery in the alarm itself?

nope something else going on there if the indicators are jammed on...
