B5 Recaro Seats

I currently have the upgraded Recaro seats which are electric but aren't heated. The upgrade to have these heated when new was not much.

In my previous car I did not have heated seats but the seats did have the elements in them, I installed the relays, the switches and got them working. Is this the same on the Audi Recaros...?

The principle would be the same I think if not there are companies that make the heater element for cars that probably could be made to work with Audi parts.

Believe it or not the Recaro's were supplied to Audi with heating elements fitted. Sometimes it's just a case of wiring up the seats, but some cars did have dummy heating elements in place of the real thing.

The cable and elements are not rediculously expensive from Vagparts, well under £200.
