Gearbox oil?

Spending a day tomorrow sorting a CV joint, fitting my braided lines and fresh brake fluid. Seeing as I've never done it I was going to change the box oil as well. Anybody know what's best to use?

Regards the tranny - always pull the fill plug before you drop the drain plug!

I got the rear diff done and it came out like coffee. Probably best if you get the car up to temperature to warm the oil a little, before draining. They fitted genuine VAG stuff, just under 2 litres on the rear diff. Might get the transmission done before the summer.
