Vibration / Knocking Under Load from centre/rear of car - Quattro

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on an issue iv had for a while.
Iv asked on the B6 forum but nobody could put their finger on it, just wondering if anyone with a B5 has had the same issue.

Basically its a constant knocking/vibration coming from the centre/rear of the car when under full load usually in the lower gears.
The car is a 2.5TDi Quattro - I have suspicions that it may be propshaft related?

I have taken an MP3 of the sound its making (the link shows its a video but its just the name)
The recording was taken in 3rd under full load.

If I remember correctly, the centre support bearing fails. Sounds a lot like that, Possibly worth starting there?

I think I may have this issue too.

Does it seem worse (this may sound crazy) when you drive in the rain/roads are wet?
