Vacuum pipe size

Hi, maybe a silly question but im going to replace all the vac lines on my 1999 tdi engine, what size pipe do i need? 3mm or 5mm?

Vac lines are usually 3mm internal diameter. I say usually because I don't know ****** all abut TDI's mate tbh

3mm as you can force fit them for a secure fit, dont no about TDI's though as i hate diesel's lol but on mine its 3mm but my forge dv nipple is more 5mm so i just rammed it on fiddly but worked.
