    aeb 1.8t pistons??

    Hi guys just wondering if anyone could tell me if the a4 b5 1.8t aeb pistons are forged i been told off people they are then others they not if anyone could tell me it would be much appreciated

    No factory fitted piston is forged, they are cast pistons. You need to go aftermarket if you want forged pistons...
    FOR SALE:
    -Golf mk 5/audi a3 1.6 FSI fuel pump, brand new genuine part boxed + seals
    -audi a3 (1998 to 2003) genuine clutch slave cylinder to fit 1.6 engines BRAND NEW

    They are "sort of" forged.

    Mahle call them forged, but they're most likely squeeze cast.

    ^this and FYI with good tune they can handle 400hp at the wheels(480bhp?)
