ABS sensor

Hi all,
Im in need of a rear abs sensor and the sleeve that holds it in place for my B5 quattro tdi.
Ive searched on ebay and all I can find is a 2.5 V6 one.
Does anyone know if these are interchangable, or any ideas where to buy a new one other than the stealers.

actual quattro rear sensors are impossible to find other than at the dealer.

You can either buy a FWD rear sensor (they're about £10-15 on ebay) then tweak the positions of the rubber boots to suit, or buy a front sensor, cut the cable off and splice it into the original cable to the rear sensor.

The brass sleeve is dealer only.

Mine are the click in type.
I've trawled through the net but all i van find on ebay are 2.5 ones. not sure if they fit/not. I imagine not!
I must try the front one and see how that works out.

I suppose dealer ones are £100+++

think I got two for under £30 posted IIRC!

just got two front ones that are sitting here that were defo less than £30 for two so assume the rears were the same

Use a FWD rear if they're push-ins, the wires a better length etc.

Hey jut a quick update on this.
Located a spare FWD sensor I had and have ordered a brass collar from my local audi dealer.

Outta curosity i priced the ABS sensor too. A whopping €198+23% vat.That a grand total of about £194.55.
Brass sleve working out at €15=Vat Works out at about £15.
Thought id let people know how audi Ireland earn a nice xmas bonous.
