Air con

I'm building a track car a4 2.6 . Trying to lighten the car up a bit thinking of taking all air con off it little rad on front all pipes question is can I keep air on pump on the engine or do I need to replace it with a dud ??

No just remove it.

If the 2.6 is like the 30v engines you'll need to fit a shorter belt.

yes good idea . only had the dout in my head as a mate said that there may be something else running on it . did not think that but thought i would ask the question
