everyone is (or should be) aware of scuttle tray drain hole problems but I have found another culprit!
rubbers above the indicator glass/housing in the boot channel.
certainly on an avant but suspect they are similar profile on saloons
the edge of the metal is very close to the edge of the rubber seal so when years of crud and crap getting washed over it from the roof and boot channel lifts the rubber up it channels the water straight into the side cubby holes!
thought I had a window leak until I sloshed some water over the rear quarter with the boot open!
get busy with the silicon in time for the really crap weather
