noise when i brake, pls help

Hi everyone, i have just changed my front brake pads on my Audi A4 1.8T turbo saloon year 2000.
When i brake i have a tinny clunk sound when you first brake, when you contunue to press the peddle there is no further noise.
Before i changed the new brake pads there was no noise's when i broke using the old pads, the noise sounds if its the front right (offside) any ideas ???

are they cheap aftermarket pads? if so it porbably vecause they are not quite perfect fit and so move a fraction on initial braking, wont do any harm apart from being annoying lol,
i had same problem with mine until i swapped for decent pads

Thanks for the reply, a guy replaced them for me so not sure whats pads they are??? Guess it won't be the secure metal clip which secures the pads???
