ECU Error: 17861 - Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor 1

Hi,

Looks like the EGT sensor from what google told me, but the 17865 & 17538 errors I cant find anything really about them. Is it mose likley just the sensor or is something else going on. Also would it be ok to drive for a few day until i order that part, Its about 20 mins to and from work, so not much?

17865 is the EGT on the other bank

17538 is a "system too lean" fault code, which suggests an airleak, faulty lambda, or faulty MAF.

Try resetting the codes and go for a drive and see if they come back.

Driving to work shouldnt be a problem, so long as you dont go booting it.

Thanks for the reply. I reset the codes yesterday and they came back. I'll check for boot leaks so and check the maf, maybe replace it, Thanks again for the reply. I wont be booting it
