2,8 V6 LPG question

There is an A8 4,2 Q with LPG conversion down the road from me & was wondering if any one has had a 2,8 V6 B5 converted to run on gas and if so whats the verdict, worth it or not?

I'd rather have a converted 1.8T

it's bound to make a huge difference, they say you loose 20% of your petrol mpg, but then its only 80p a litre to fill..
