spring stifness

Hi guys , this might be a silly question but are all lowering springs the same stiffness , ie are 20mm-30mm springs same stiffness as 40mm-50mm , cheers guys...
 
as a very rough rule, the lower you go, the stiffer they need to be.

Different brands tend to be stiffer/softer as well though.
 
I suppose the cheaper they are the harder and crashier ( probably not even a word ) it will be , cheers , prob going to go 30 on front ,25 on back on std shocks for now . Just to get front bit lower.probably going to put std 16" speedlines back on to get rid of some harshness , theyre painted gun metal grey so look ok I think , ..
 
not always.

H&R for instance are fairly dear, but are known for having a fairly harsh/stiff ride.

On the other hand Eibachs Pro-kits are known for excellent ride quality.
