Saloon Roof Strips Removal

how do you remove the strips either side of the roof on a saloon?Also,how do they fit back on?

Not done it tony, but as far as i understand:

• they just pull out
• you dont, as they bend and twist in the process of getting them out...

Wanted to do this to vinyl wrap the roof....
