Dust shield for 312mm conversion

What do you guys do about the dust shield on the 312mm conversion? I will be doing my 1.8t qs soon and wondered if the existing one fits or needs to be swaped / removed. Would there be any issues in leaving them off? Thanks.

unbolt the standard one and place it in the bin.

Mine doesnt have one on there lol. Since i`ve owned it anyway.

some A4's came from the factory with little more than a small flat plate

Others have the full large shields.

Will have to check them to see which ones they are now, but thanks so no harm if I bin them.

Mine was done last month and I can't remember seeing any one mine.

bit late on this....
I just used the old '288mms' back plate with the 315 new discs. No problems at all.
