1.8 TQS Avant cv joint needed

Read a thread from "FactionOne" from a bit ago regarding outer cv joints from J & R CV joints for 1.8 TQS Avant. Unfortunately, after speaking to a guy at J & R today it appears they no longer stock the part and are not sure if they ever will in the near future.

Main stealer wants £145 and vat for refurbs...and I have now tried 5 different places and each one sent the wrong part.

Any info appreciated....

Give sulli79 a shout he may have one left on his saloon hes breaking as saloon and avant are the same iirc then you can just clean up the internals and regrease it !!

I fitted a q-drive cv joint to my wifes A6 almost 2 years ago from eurocarparts much less than audi.
worth checking them 30% off this week

Think about 45 but can't be sure as it was a few years back,

I think you want a 2.8 quattro CV.

Just to confirm that yes, 2.8 Quattro outer CV's are what you need, part number 8D0498099C

Most 1.8's have smaller CV's, but the TQS got bigger ones.
