would 18x8" wheels with a 45mm offset and fitted with 225/40x18 tyres fit my facelift "X"Reg avant, it's dropped 30mm ATM, i have a car show (modified nationals) in 10days and want a set of 18's.
Many Thanks
Wayne

i suspect it will foul the rear suspension upright at the top (you can barely get your finger in there with standard 17") although depending on the actual tyre profile (varies with brand) you may get away with it, i wouldnt think you would need anything more than a 5mm spacer, if you require one at all.

Trial fit required.

well et35 (i think thats what rs4 alloys are) fit my a5 b5 on a big drop.

Yep, but that 10mm of space is what is needed, it is very very tight at that top upright. as i say, you might get away with it depending on the profile of the tyre.
