Any of you avant boys ever noticed your boot not opening?

I don't mean a sticking lock catch, I mean the boot getting stuck to the rubbers.

I've had this a couple of times, you try and open the boot and it moved a couple of mm and nothing, give it a harder tug and it opens but sounds and feels like its got stuck to the rubber.

Only in cold weather, give the rubber a good coating of autoglym rubber care stuff or similar should stop it

go to a builder yard and buy a can of silicon spray , its the spray that is used to connect drainage pipe , make the rubber more supple.
RGB , wickes etc

Silicone it. (Spray or grease, NOT sealant)

I use silicon grease on all my door rubbers when I service the cars. It helps soften the rubber which cuts down on noise and helps prevent the seals sticking

Unfortunately limited stock :angrymod: and any form of group buy at that price would mean no more availability!
