I've just bought a set of 17" RS4 alloys for my 2001 A4T - what are the recommended tyres sizes? am i better with 215,45.17 or 225,45,17?

cheers

i have 225's on the standard 16's, i would defo go for 225's, you can squeeze 235/45/17 tyres on it too.

Cheers 225 it'll be then

I don't suppose anyone knows the part number for genuine RS4 alloys do they? the ones i've got don't have the PCD stamped on but there's a part number which looks like 8L0601 025AC , 7x17H2, ET38
i don't want to order the tyres to find the wheels are from a TT or A3 so wont fit

thanks

they aren't genuine RS4 alloys as these were only available in 18" and they wouldn't fit an A4 anyway without wider wheelarches. I'd try one on for size before getting any rubber as most OEM Ronals were produced for the TT
