Hi Guys,

I have just replaced the rear suspension on my 97 Avant. It previously had lowering springs on it, but had completely shot dampers.
I have replaced the rear bushes and fitted a set of JOM coilovers. (Front ones waiting to be fitted)
The coilovers came with no instructions and require you to reuse the top mounts and rubbers from the old struts.

I am not completely sure I have them assembled correctly. There are at least 3 combinations of spacer/washer order I could have tried.
Bottom line is they are rattling/creaking a lot and I am wondering if this is because of how I have assembled them.

Anyone else used JOMs on the rear and if so can you tell me a) if they are noisy? and b) what what the assembly sequence on the top end?

Hope you can help.
Sean

I did not like the look of the prefacelift rear strut tops, so kind of happy i went over to facelift version.

is that an option for you?
facelift units are complete, no messing about with spacers or washers.
