Hello all, thinking of getting a second key, how much are they?

I used these people Spare Car Keys | Replacement Car Keys | Transponder Keys | Lost Keys for the fob and transponder, and got a second hand remote from scrappy.
You only have to e-mail them a picture of your existing key and they send you a cut key, with the pattern code in case you want another one cut.
Do remember you need to code the new transponder with something like Vag Tacho, and if you get another remote, this needs synching as well.

I went to my local key cutters and they charged me 25quid and managed to code it too! Timpsons key cutters charge 35 with coding.

Well that's a result. The dealer found the second key! The housing is trashed though. How do you change the case?

what about the immobaliser chip, as i only have 1 key... whats my options

I've got all the gubbins just need to change the case and buttons lol
