Slight ticking from engine S4 B5

It sounds like the exhaust have a slight leak but I don't think it's that. Seems to be coming from the drivers side middle of the cam. The fuel pressure regulator is ticking away s oI woder if it is that but it's hard to listen for anything else when all I can hear is the FPR. Are they generally noisey or just when they're failing?

Injectors generally tick, but you only typically notice them when your listening closely at the engine.

solenoid for the charcoal filter on the fuel tank breather system? these tick when in normal operation.

Especially if the plastic on said valve cracks or snaps off.
