Amazing what a bit of new plastic will do

Got new rear axle bushes fitted to my avant today.
What a difference they made to the handling and the ride
next to doing the control arms, has to go down as some of the best
money I've spent on the car. €40 for the bushes
€100 for the labour.
By all accounts the one on the drivers side fell out

Yeh we found the same when we did ours on the old car, felt like someone had just fitted completely new uprated suspension on the rear of the car!

Think mine are shot it squeaks abit if push down on the back or when tightning wheels does it sound like there my problem?

Still waiting to do mine. Going to try the heavy duty options as the polybushes arent available yet from what i can see.

the handling on mine was all over the place even though i had fitted new shocks and springs.
every time i hit a divet on the road or a ridge the back of the car wobbled like two old people shagging
i recently upgraded my wheels from 15 to 17s and when changing i found that the whole axle was moving (thought it was time to change)
there was no tell tale noises from mine just a lot of unnessecary movement.
i fitted febi bushes that i got from german auto parts direct who were fairly competitive compared to my local autofactors

Yh sound bout right when was doing wheel up it appeared to move the whole hub sideways so think ill be doing them next
