    Question 00 b5 S4 power issues !!

Hi, im the new guy !! just joined tonite and i have a mountain off questions to ask all you experts, i bought my first s4 in august past and i love the car, it came completely standard with no mods but i wanna change that, going on some advise from audi forums i was told to uprate to 710n dv valves which ive done and tbb hose and F hose which is also done i uprated the exhaust also fitted a turbo back system with complete decat. The car is not taxed yet so i have sneaked out for an odd blast !! but it seemed to go well until lately ? it still goes well when its cold but when it warms up to 100-120 on temp gauge it doesnt seem to boost the same ?? it still goes well but just not the same punch ?? I live in N ireland and dont know anyone who specialises in this car so id appreciate a little help, and also have i enough done in mods for a remap ??? im going to a local man here but if anyone knows of a firm that is good to go to in N Ireland for the s4 in particular that would be great too.
    Many thanks UIW99

Is that the oil temp gauge I'm guessing ??

Best thing you could do is get it scanned see what codes you have stored then clear them and go out for another quick blast see which ones come back, secondly tried and get it tested for boost/vac leaks or give your pipe work a once over spraying carb/brake cleaner on the pipes to check for a change in engine tone, it may be worth your while pluming in a boost gauge to see what your boost levels are reading.

That is running far too hot if the temp sensor is working correctly! Which temperature are you talking about?

The coolant should never get above 90 on a standard car, and I wouldn't even expect to see the oil any hotter than 90 either.
You really need to run Vagcom on it to take some readings. I would expect to see a number of things at fault.

sorry my mistake about temp reading !! i meant between 60 - 90 on water/coolant temp, ill try an find a guy with vagcom over here to get a health check done but the car seems to be running well, justt not when its warmed up about 15-20 mins, my own mechanic runs only on snap on diagnosics and he said it gave no faults apart from airbag ecu which needs replaced as well !! but im guessing vagcom would hold more answers ??? hopefully ! cheers for the replys

Certainly do scan it. Seems like you have done the right things so far too. One more thing to do is to pressure test the intake system for boost leaks - there is a lot of plumbing as you know!!
