Broken Sunroof - Sort of works!!!!!!

I have replaced the fuse a couple of times and now it doesn't blow the fuse, but only opens to the tilt positon. It then won't close or open fully. The sunuroof can be wound by hand fully open and shut again with no problems. Is the motor on its way out or is it something else?

any help is appreciated.

If you search the forum there was a detailed post on how to take the control dial off and clean it - sounds like this would be a good (and free) first try...

turned out to be the motor/relays I got one from a breakers for £15 and all is working fine...
