    Immobiliser problems :(

After doing a search on the forum and reading various threads i have a faulty immobiliser. I have tried all the "quick fixes" but none of them have worked. I have ordered a new ignition barrel with two new keys from audi. Once i have fitted this will i have to get it coded to the immobiliser?

    Thanks Scott.

hmm, if the barrel has been manufactured to the original key code for your car (which it should have been!) then you can simply fit it and continue using your existing keys.

If it hasnt, then you'll need to get the new keys coded to the immo, and will also end up with a different key for the door and the ignition barrel...
