    The wood has gone

With some thought, a need for change and to try something different.
I tried my hand at wrapping my dash trims. I liked the wood that was there wanted something different so I went for Matt black and got a bit carried away.
I did the door trims, dash trim (the little bit,I'm not removing the centre console to get the big dash trim out, that can wait till April), centre console and the bit around the gear stick (Not the chrome bit, I like that).

Here is what it looks like.

All that talk of your wood going down I wondered what it may be about, but I'm pleased it's clean and it's looking sweet G!

Nope, dont need to touch it at all.

I removed the clips above the glovebox, and the one on the drivers side above the knee bolster, which leaves one clip right in the middle above the centre console. I then fed two carrier bags in around the trim, either side of the remaining clip, and tied them to give me two loops, shimmy the loops right up against the remaining pin, and just give the loops a sharp tug. The clip will detatch (and vanish into the depths of the dashboard) and the trim will come off.

When refitting you dont need to bother about that clip!

I'm stripping my dash out in a month or two, so I might wait till that than have an annoying clip floating around in my dash.
Or i'll do that if I get really annoyed with it.

    Thank for the tip.

Its the fact that I know there is a clip missing and some lose behind there.
I can't have that and since I'm stripping the dash out to correct some wiring and replace the matrix, I might as well wait.
