Hi all, this is my first post and first time on a forum so take it easy!

Got my B5 S4 around 2 weeks ago and the back seems really low. i'll post pics asap, however, if looking from a distance, the front seems to be around 1/2 inches higher than the back. it's come to the point where i'm hitting the back box 9/10 times when going over speed bumps in first gear! iv given it to my mechanic who said the shocks and spring are perfectly fine and exhaust clamps and gaskets are all tight as a drum. Can someone please provide me with the stock ride height for my S4 (1999 Saloon) or shine some light on what the problem may be?

Thanks in advance.

The rear springs seem to sag and give the exact effect you describe. Eventually they snap, usually losing a coil off the bottom, then it ends up looking like you've got a pallet of sand in the boot.

Get yourself some Eibach Pro-Kit springs, which should sort out the ride height and improve handling to boot.
