Ignition barrel help

Ive bought a facelift lockset from Tonya4 on here and somehow he has removed the immobiliser transponder reader from the ignition barrel. Now im left with trying to remove the code reader from my existing ignition barrel to fit to the facelift barrel. How do i go about this? I can see Tony has had a nightmare removing this as its beaten to death. Please someone tell me this isnt going to cost me money Ive got enough going on without this

why are you changing it?
its a lot easier to swap actual barrel than the complete ignition unit

I had to change the complete lockset as i have facelifted all of my panels whilst doing my rs4 widebody conversion and needed a matching ignition barrel. Ive managed to seperate the reader from my barrel now. I just rested the barrel on my vice and punched the barrel out through the rear
