Its a little mod and I doubt any one would really notice but I notice and I'm happy.
I also want to show people. :)

Just a subtle little mod and something I thought about doing since I rehung the doors.
The Pre-Facelift striker plates are a bit dull and mine was going rusty where the doors dropped and was rubbing on them.
TonyA4 had a facelift avant that he was breaking so I bought the striker plates off him.
Easy to do, just unbolt and bolt in. Job done.

I said it was subtle and no one will notice but I think it makes it look alot better.

how did you rehang the doors and what did you do to address "the droop"?

I replaced the hinges on the drivers side cause that was really bad.
The passenger side I just loosened off the hinges enough to hold the door but enough for me to move it to the correct position.
Once it was all bag and I was happy, I tightened every thing up.

Nice little mod. I realised how bad mine were when i got the rs4 rear quarters to cut up. The ****** local gypos took what was left of the rs4 quarters before i had chance to remove the nice shiney strikers though :(
