Been told about a facelift B5 with no front end at a local yard. What do I need to swipe from the wreck for the auto dimming mirror and can it be wired up to work in my pre facelift B5?

You just need the mirror itself, and the door mirrors if they're also auto-dimming.
Its a rare option though, are you sure it has it?

Its just the mirror and some cables for the rear view mirror.
If it has the side mirrors you need the glass, cables and plugs.
You don't need the plugs, you can use the plugs you at the moment and just buy the cables from audi but the main thing is the rear view mirror.
a friend did the doors and inside not long ago,, but he says are too dim or dark, finds he has to take a double look and hes hasn't got tints! ive been in it and i think std are better and safer IMO
Edit : as i nearly forgot.....he even has a reversing camrea fitted that linked to the RNSE and only month ago backed into a wall and did the rear quarter ! lol
its this blue rs
